This Victorian English Aesthetic Movement plate bears a brown transfer pattern of a bird dog encountering a grouse.  A handsome graphic zig-zag surrounds the rim.  It will bring a touch of the English Country "Sporting Life" to your office or den.  Made by Wedgwood (founded 1759, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent).  Note the small rim chip on the plate (see detail photo).   (10.25" diameter)   sw12862c
